NovaTerra's affiliate company, Solar Ilch LLC is partnering with Thailand based solar project developer, financier Symbior Solar to construct a 50MW solar power station in the South Gobi region of Mongolia that will connect to the southern grid system. The project site is located in proximity to the Oyu Tolgoi and Erdenes Tavan Tolgoi mining sites. This project is estimated to reduce CO2 emission by 110,000 tons annually and prevent the use of 100,000 tons of water and 90,000 tons of coal.
