The project

An everlasting voyage

N. Sergelen’s masterpiece goes beyond the concept of a single day, taking the viewer on a time-travelling journey through the transformation of human life and our shared history — breaking the boundaries of space and time.

Global connectivity

The work celebrates the diversity of 193 countries, showcasing each nation’s unique ethnic culture. It was researched and painted in a pre-Google, pre-AI, pre-smartphone era — nine years of research inside twenty-one years of crafting — which is precisely what makes it impossible to repeat.

Artistic mastery

As the world’s longest Mongolian-style and watercolour painting, this singular creation has no equal, and stands as a testament to the interconnectedness of humanity and the importance of preserving cultural heritage.
